Visiting Grandpa!

Mommy and Matty went to visit Grandpa St Nick, Auntie Sylvia and Cousins Trinity and Rickey. Matty loves to play with his cousins, he's mesmerized by everything they do. He's definitely Grandpa's boy, too. We went to lunch at Souplantation and it was yummy!

Matty Loves the Chargers!

Besides going to mass each week, Sundays are all about Charger football! Matty and Daddy (and sometimes Mommy) don their Charger gear and root for their favorite team (even though they are off to rough start so far). Nonetheless, we are true fans through thick and thin!

Three Years Already!!!!

Wow, its hard to believe that its been three years since we were married (and this weekend it will be 7 years since we started dating). We've had a great time and everyday is a new adventure. This year, we have a baby and Tony is taking a new career path. We are blessed by God in so many ways. Matthew has a virus so we'll be staying home and having a quiet evening in but I'm glad to be with both my guys. Love you, babe!

Lunch with Auntie Shannen

Matthew and Mommy had lunch with Auntie Shannen today. Matthew was a pretty good boy but was way overdue for a nap by the time we left. He macked on some applesauce and played with his toys while we dined on some yummy enchiladas.

Matthew is 7 Months Old!

So much has happened this month! Matty is crawling with perfection and mastering the art of eating solid foods. He's sitting unsupported and can pull himself to sitting and standing with very little effort. He sings along to music (in his own language of course). He really wants to walk but doesn't have the balance to stand unsupported just yet. Swim time and bath time are his favorites but he also loves to take rides in the stroller and in the car. Dining out is starting to become a feasible option again since he will sit in a high chair now. We are working on finger foods, though he has little interest...the only thing he won't put in his mouth so far are finger foods.

He's weighing in at 17lbs 13 oz, in the 40th percentile and his height is 26.5 inches, in the 25th percentile. He's showing steady growth since birth as well as weight gain and still in the expectant range, although below average. Dr Du is quite impressed with his intelligence and curiosity, remarking that he is the "smartest baby I've seen in awhile". I foresee the Ivy League education I always wanted!
